CEF Committees
CEF Committees develop and make operational and policy recommendations to the full board. The following is a brief summary of the respective responsibilities:
Chelsea Alumni Association (CAA) - Volunteer Steering Committee of 15 CHS alumni. Positions include: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer. CAA’s mission is to create avenues for Chelsea alumni to communicate, connect, volunteer, support, and participate in Chelsea Schools and Chelsea-related activities. Meets monthly.
Donor Development - Develops the fundraising plan and relationships with funders and funding sources. Helps the Board carry out its due diligence function related to assuring fiscal health through philanthropy and fund development. Meets monthly.

Impact - Reviews and awards teacher grants and student scholarships. Meets a minimum of four times per year.

Events - Conceptualizes, develops, and implements programs that generate revenue and community exposure. Works under the umbrella of the Executive, Marketing, and Finance Committees with direct relationship to Donor Development. Active year round.

Finance – Oversees the financial operations of the organization including, but not limited to, preparing and presenting the annual budget. Includes all Executive Committee, plus additional support members. Meets monthly.

Marketing / Communications - Works with CEF’s Strategic Marketing firm to prioritize all aspects of digital and print media to advance the mission of CEF. Meets monthly.
​
Executive Committee - Recommends procedures for the Board and Officer, provides organizational vision, nominates new Board members fill vacancies and establishes procedures for slate of officers. Meets monthly.
